Arturo began his racing career in the KID class, one day before his 5th birthday with a victory at KAM Kartway in Rome, TX - followed by a series of 1st place finishes there after. 

He is also an active member of the North Texas Karters Club where he has taken consistent top five finishes.

In 2009, he has challenged the

Rotax Micromax Class parking his KID Kart for more horse power.

Arturo has demonstrated an enormous potential in racing as he follows the footsteps of his older sister Azaly who he admires and sees as a roll model, having followed her career since he was born.
