Hello!!
Let me begin by thanking you for visiting my web-site! =)

My name is Azaly Marquez and I am fourteen years old.

I am in the 9th grade in LDHS.

My racing career began when I turned five in the Kid Kart class.

I was so young and I was perceived as “gracious” and “cute” and my talent drew the admiration of many people.

My domain in my #7 Kart wheel has grown over the last nine years, and so has the love and admiration of my family and friends. After six months from the beginning of my racing career, I was honored to be featured by UNIVISION as one of the youngest Hispanic go-karting racing talents.

Amelia Maquiabelo was kind enough to interview my family and I to later appear in their National Television program, Despierta America with Gissell and Fernando Arau. Thank you UNIVISION!!!

I appeared on television again on January 2001, this time a snap shot in speed vision. Thank you SPEED VISION.

But that was not it! In January 2002 Chanel 22 united with Telemundo, Chanel 52 also did me the honors. Their reporter William Dealisamon interviewed me about my experience in the racing circuits for their special edition, Stars of Tomorrow. Most resent in April of this year, I was featured again in their Stars of Tomorrow edition. Twice! What an honor! Thank you William Deglisamon, Chanel 22 and TELEMUNDO.

While keeping up with my racing career, as young as I am, I also stay focused in my education. Currently a 2nd grader and honored with The President’s Education Award for my outstanding academic achievements in 1st grade.  This and many other academic achievements are thanks to my parents and great teachers who help me learn. I also love to read and enjoy doing my homework daily, while my weekends are either spent racing or practicing at different tracks.

I am not only a racer, but also a 09-10 Highstepper in my school. I enjoy to dance.

I dance anywhere and whenever I want. Even though I also dance, racing still comes first for me.

My small achievements have been thanks to my wonderful family who supports me and takes me everywhere. It is for them and my sponsors that I have succeeded in racing and hope to fulfill my dream of becoming a RACING CHAMPION. Thank you Papi and Mami and all my sponsors for your love and support. I also thank you who enjoy all about my career and for reading my small story - The story of a young Hispanic girl who whishes to succeed!

Thank you,

Azaly 2009
