Biography:
I've been racing since the winter of 2000 at age four and half. With the mentoring of Jesus Vasquez, I started out in Kid Karts at Adams Kart Track in Riverside, CA and earned the nickname "Racing Machine". My dad took me out to practice everywhere, whether it was at a track or at a parking lot. Throughout my karting years, I raced with Tri-C Karters, IKF (International Karting Federation) Region 7, LA Kart Club, Perris Kart Club, STARS, NTK, Rotax Max Series, and at DKC. I jumped from kid karts to junior classes, Komer 80, Rookie Sportsman Yamaha 125, HPV Jr 125, 80cc Shifter, Rotax Jr, and Rotax Sr.
In 2013, my dad and I decided to move up to something different, so we got Legend cars and started at Texas Motor Speedway! Marquez Racing knew it was the beginning of a new challenge, which only made it more exciting.
I won my first two races then was put into the Semi-Pro’s division. With the guidance of my dad, fellow racers, and new track friends, I learned something new each time I was on the track. I finished 2nd for the Summer Stampede Series and finished 3rd overall for the year. Exciting, right?!
Since that summer, I was on and off the track and then eventually stopped racing for awhile. Going from community college at NCTC to university changed my lifestyle and had me focusing mainly on school.
Gladly. my dad and I agreed it's been overdue to dust off the webs from Beauty and Beast (my legend cars'), so we decided to have some summer fun! We are back for the summer of 2017 and will be joining Lonestar Legends in their summer stampede at Texas Motor Speedway! I am really excited!!
